This course provides will provide you with a foundational understanding of the programming techniques and material removal strategies common to produce engineered components (targeting largely 3-axis milling and leading into an introduction to 5 axes positional milling) making use of Mastercam programming software. Candidates typically wish to progress their skillset in manufacturing to advance to CNC programming – however can also enhance their knowledge in a machining environment by understanding the fundamentals of machining metals (such as operation sequencing, interpreting code etc).
