Northlink College, Cape Town South Africa
Following on from two reciprocal visits in 2017 the Northern Regional College is delighted to launch a new international partnership with Northlink College, Cape Town, South Africa. The two colleges cemented their partnership as Professor Terri Scott, Principal/CEO NRC and Mr Leon Beech, Principal/CEO NLC sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) earlier this year committing both colleges to build a sustainable long term (3-5 year) relationship.
The aim of the MoA is to create a common understanding regarding a working agreement between both colleges and to provide a framework and mechanism for co-operative activities of mutual interest. The MoA serves to encourage both colleges to share best practice, build capacity and pursue areas of common interest such as:
- Digital Learning and Information Technology (Academic and Support)
- Development of Material and Online assessments
- Artisan Skills Development and Apprenticeships models (Systems)
- Industry engagement/ Dual system
- Inter College competitions (Students)
- Entrepreneurship and Self-employment
- Business Process Transformation Administration model (Management)
- Management Operating Model development
