A Foundation Degree in Construction at Northern Regional College can provide a pathway to a challenging and interesting career in the construction sector, according to Ballymoney woman, Joanne O’Boyle. Joanne, who is employed as an Estimating Assistant with Heron Bros., was awarded a Foundation Degree (validated by Ulster University) in Construction with Surveying at the College’s recent Higher Education graduation ceremony.

Larne’s John Irwin has graduated from Northern Regional College’s Farm Lodge Campus, in Ballymena, after completing a Foundation Degree in Mechanical Manufacturing & Engineering. Once he left school, John decided that an apprenticeship was the right route for him and, through an apprenticeship scheme, he was able to complete a Level 2 and Level 3 in Mechanical Manufacturing & Engineering.
