As an approved testing centre for Adobe, Northern Regional College can now offer Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) to Creative Media students. From September 2021, all full time Level 3 Creative Media students will additionally study towards achieving ACP, the industry standard for Adobe products which include Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, Animate, Dreamweaver and Premiere Pro.

Jordan Gaw from Ballyclare is a second year Computing apprentice at Northern Regional College. Through the HLA he spends four days per week with his employer Hutchinson Engineering in Kilrea and the remaining day in the College’s Farm Lodge Campus in Ballymena engaging in classroom-based learning.

Chris McConnaghie, who is employed as maintenance manager with SDC Trailers in Toomebridge, completed the Foundation Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with distinction at the College. He is currently doing a BEng (Hons) degree sponsored by his employer.
