Inclusive learning students at Northern Regional College’s Ballymoney campus have put forward their suggestions for the ideal classroom. The College has embarked on an £84 million capital investment programme to build new state of the art campuses on its current sites in Union Street, Coleraine and Farm Lodge, Ballymena.

Northern Regional College students Tyson McKeown, Adam Pidgeon and Matthew Sterritt are off to study in the USA this month. The trio will be among 54 students from across Northern Ireland on British Council’s prestigious Study USA programme. The programme enables students to study Business or STEM related subjects for a year in American colleges, across 34 States, helping to develop their career prospects when they return to Northern Ireland.

Rafal Fila, an Engineering student at Northern Regional College, has been awarded the Concorde Cup after achieving the highest grade possible in his BTEC Level 3 Diploma at the College’s Farm Lodge Campus finishing with a triple distinction* grade profile. Originally from Poland, Rafal (21) has been living in Northern Ireland for the past 12 years and previously attended Ballymena Academy.
