Are You A Future Leader?

Northern Regional College is currently recruiting for a new graduate management programme which is being delivered as part of the Government’s response to COVID-19 recovery for the economy. Funded through the Department for the Economy’s Skills Intervention programme, the Future Leaders Graduate Management Programme will be run in collaboration with South Eastern Regional College (SERC), South West College (SWC) and North West Regional College (NWRC).

Irvine Abraham, Enterprise and International Manager at the College explained that the newly developed programme will run for 24 weeks and is aimed at graduates in any discipline or individuals with the equivalent of a Level 6 qualification.

“Participants will be placed with an employer for 30 hours per week - matched to their CV and career aspirations – where they will complete a business/service improvement project. They will receive a weekly training allowance of £150 per week for the duration of the programme.”

He added, “As well as gaining valuable industry experience with a view to securing employment, participants will work towards a Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification which is supported by 4 hours online learning per week through the host college.”
