When asked what a key takeaway from his time at College was, he said that the friendships made was something to be treasured.

He also noted how the help of their lecturers Aaron Colton, Laura Dixon and Jonny Shields, helped his class overcome any challenges that the pandemic presented.

“The lecturers understood the time it would take for us to adjust to learning online. It was a big change, but we felt that they were always willing to help”, he said.

Laurence has now have progressed onto university, and is currently studying Games Design at Ulster University’s Belfast campus.

He said that although he has faced new challenges at university, his time at Northern Regional College has helped him, having developed relevant skills which he can now draw upon.
