The Step Up Programme is here to support individuals aged 16 and over who want to reconnect with education and develop new skills to move towards employment. Whether you are just starting out, returning to work, or seeking a fresh direction, this free programme, fully funded by the Department for the Economy, offers tailored support to help you succeed. Additional help with mentoring, childcare and travel costs is also available.

Step Up provision is aimed at increasing access and participation of under-represented individuals in skills, education and employment. It includes targeted interventions for those who are unemployed and economically inactive and those who find it hardest to access skills, education and employment opportunities. The project is funded by the Department for the Economy through the Step Up project. Supported by the Skills Fund, Delivering the Minister’s Economic Vision.
