Jade Hunter completed her GCSE’s and A-Levels at school but at the time she didn’t want to continue into further education. Having moved around different jobs, Jade decided at the start of 2025 that her best chance of finding a good job and her career path was to return to education.

She has always been interested in hairdressing and chose the Level 2 Traineeship in Hairdressing at Northern Regional College; it offered her the perfect balance of practical experience along with the science and theory behind hairdressing.

Looking to the future Jade hopes after completion of her placement to open her own salon and start to build her own clientele.
